Hi all,
I just wanted to say that i will be attending the AEC "CAD Management & Council Technology Day 2010".

I will be coming up from Melbourne for the day.

I hope to meet many of the NSW C3D users whilts i am in town...

  • (how to put 3D models into Acrobat - not just 2D plans)

Drainage
  • (Dean from NZ coming over to show the new stuff with all the expert users coming in for a brainstorming session)

DYNAMITE!
  • This is one very well named piece of software! - It's ended up that I'm doing this presentation and I'm seriously looking forward to it as this is the funkiest piece of software I have ever used.

CORRIDORS AND REAL JOBS
  • Cross Sections, Long Sections, not in the same DWG ... No Problem..

SURVEY in CIVIL 3D (with some AutoCAD Hacks)
  • This is a change from the original Schedule - Field to finish in Civil 3D (with some quick visualization in Dynamite coz it's fun!) andsome groovy tips & tricks on how to use dynamic blocks & constraints with corridors...

Navisworks...
  • BIM for Civil is an emerging trend and it will have a lot of $$$ associated with it - this session is all about the "I" in Building the Information Model

Thanks to AEC for a great day,

My head hurt after a full day, and flying up from Melb..

Attached is a pic of Dean teaching survey class and TMG with an AEC staff Member.. I am the big guy on the left..

It was great to meet so many forum members on the day, keep in touch.

It was lucky you had your camera - I assumed Paul Fowler was bringing his and he assumed I was bringing mine!
