I also have Acrobat Pro 9 and can't get it to produce PDFs with layers from C3D, maybe it isn't supported?  If you really need layers the standard Autodesk "DWG to PDF.pc3" printer creates layers by default.

Thanks Stuart,

I can use that but have found that occasionally the autodesk DWG to PDF can be a bit funny in relation to wrong line weights etc.

Cheers

Hi Mark,
I had Acrobat Pro for cutting 3D pdfs, and publishing the layers. My graphics guy needed to work with 3Ds Max, so i am using the DWG to PDF also.

As a default i actuly set it to not push the layers.

Why? Because there are 349 layers in the ANZ and then my company layers on top of that..

At the AEC solutions day in Melbourne, I asked Lynn Allen if Autodesk are going to improve this functionallity so you can restrict the list of layers published, and she said NO.

Not that it helped, but worth getting a little support behind the layer list selections option..

Cheers
