This presentation will look at how architects and building design professionals can use Ecotect to inform design decisions from the sketch design phase through to project documentation. We will examine various analysis capabilities in the following key areas: shading design, solar, lighting, thermal, ventilation and airflow, and acoustics. By demonstrating integration with the Revit and AutoCAD platforms, the user will understand this application’s place in the BIM/CAD environment and the cost and efficiency savings that are possible. We will explore the improved design capabilities that Ecotect affords thanks to its highly visual interface, and how it is easily used to create greener, healthier buildings.
